BRUSH MACHINES
PALLET CLEANING BRUSH MACHINES
In production the pallet becomes an integral part of the mold, and a pallet that is not clean and flat can contribute not only to poor quality product but also to premature mold wear, and will certainly suffer a reduced service life itself. For example, if the mold does not sit flat due to debris or wear on the pallet, an opening is provided to allow material to migrate under the cavity wall, grinding away at the bottom edge of the mold with every cycle of vibration. The result can quickly become ‘elephant’s foot’ washout on the mold and accelerated wear on the pallet. Considering the significant cost of these effects, a small investment in pallet care would seem an astute decision. RAMPF can provide customized brushing solutions for your application.
